it's hard not to notice the elephant in the room

...especially when it's as cute as Ella is.

Ella Publishing Company is the creative brain child of Angie Lucas and Lain Ehmann. After Simple Scrapbooks closed it doors, these two decided to take matters into their own hands and start their own e-book company. A scrapbooking-based e-book company...how cool is that?!

Make sure to check out their incredibly adorable website (beta-launched just yesterday), add your name to the mailing list (great giveaways all next week during their grand opening), sign up for their e-zine (just finished a super-fun layout for it) and have a look see at their first three e-books premiering this month (recognize any of the authors?).

I am so happy (& honored) to be a part of the grand opening celebration! And I'm also so incredibly proud of these girls and what they've accomplished in such a short period of time. The e-books are truly beautiful (designed by the great Cathy Zielske) and very affordable too (not to mention eco-friendly as well). I can't wait to read all three...well, two (I guess I've already read mine, ha).

Oh Margaret, I LOVE the book you and Sara wrote. I was thrilled to get a sneak peek of it waaaay back when... thrilled to see your name on a scrap-related project and happy to see your photos and projects inside. Congratulations on your first Ella eBook, and I hope to see many more from you. :)
